Fine Line~

I guess some people just don't know what to say when they learn that someone that they love or know has breast cancer.  For some, they struggle to find the right words.  Instead of choosing silence, they fumble for words.  Jenny, who is a breast cancer survivor, has put together this video to shed light on what not to say... ( I think that she might have preferred silence instead of these reactions/words ).   I found her video to be a very clever and a cheeky way to shed light as to what people have said to her thru her battle.  I for one can admit, that at one point I too may have fumbled for the right words to say.  Especially after learning how the silence and distance felt to my mother as she waged her battle with breast cancer.  I still may sometimes struggle, but I always try to think of the other person before I speak.  Some of these people clearly should have exercised the same thought process.  I really wanted to share this with you because I think that Jenny did an amazing job at bringing this to light.  While finding a way to do it with style, humor, and a touch of class.
