There comes a time, a time in everyones life

Where nothin seems to go your way

There may come a time, you just cant seem to find your place

For every door you open, seems like you get two slammed in your face

Thats when you need someone, someone that you can call. 

And when all your faith is gone

Feels like you cant go on

You reach out for something and they slap your hand

For just a little place you can call your own

Thats when you need someone, someone that you can call

There are days when you feel like nothing is going right.

When every door that you have tried is locked, 

&
every prayer that you have prayed for on bended

knee has not been heard.

That is when you need to reach out to a friend.

When the water is swirling around you

and you feel like you are drowning,

that is when you need to call your friend.

There is never a time when they will not 

be there for you, 

even if it is to just to listen to you.

Every day we face challenges,

sometimes,

we just need that person

to help us see things in a different light.

Where all you see is dark clouds on the horizon,

they will show you the silver lining.

Sometimes, they will just comfort you.

Other times they will hug you tight.

You just need to be willing to reach out 

for that friend.

When things aren't going right...

Tonight, I say Thank you to all of my 

friends that have been that for me.

I hope that in your time of need 

you will look towards me...
