Fueling the Training...

Now that I am back to training, my diet is changing back into clean eating.  Tonight grilled on the "Big Green Egg".  Had raspberry chicken with a side of grilled onions.  Then a nice side salad with lemon water to finish it off.  As I get more into my training I leave my "comfort" foods behind.  I have a goal that I am working towards, not just getting ready for the 3-Day events.  I want to be able to wear the size I was in prior to having kids.  If I meet that goal, I am going to do a photo shoot to celebrate my new look.  Who knows...I might even cut off my hair to go with my new look...Stay tuned...

  1. Malinda...You are so right and the food is the biggest key!!! And how are they comfort foods anyway when they make you sooo uncomfortable....
    We all have to change our mindset to what a treat is...Is it a big piece of chocolate cake,, a n entire half gallon of ice cream,, a huge plate of chicken alfredo??? OR is it being able to go on a walk with your kids in the fall and looking at leaves...taking a bubble bath (caause you finally fit in the tub,..haha) or getting a pedicure or massage.... As soon as you realize the true gifts in your life Then eating clean becomes a lot easier...cause its a great gift to YOU!!!
