Atari

At a friends house and we got talking about things "back in the day".  I was trying to tell her son that when I was growing up our computer speed was nothing like it is today.   So I tried explaining the difference from then till now.  It would be like having dial up to where we are to day with almost instant access where ever we go.  Wasn't getting any where with that so I went with the correlation of having a Wii versus the original Atari.  Apples vs Oranges, if you can look back at things you can see all the progress we made, but at the time we were on the cutting edge.  The same can be said for all the progress we have made over the years with our research for the Susan G. Komen foundation.  We have come farther that some could ever imagine and every day we get a little bit further.  This is made possible with all of the work from the participants the funds they raise and all the awareness they get out into the public.  We will continue to make strides because of your generous donations.  We can not walk with out your support.  This weekend the 3-Day will be taking over Washington DC.  I had the honor of walking there, and got the chance to carry the Grandmother flag in opening & closing ceremonies, last year and had a wonderful time.   As we look back at our progress we look towards the future for the next wave of innovation.  Thank you for your continued support.  Together, we will find a cure!
